Head Chef

Fabien comes from Charente Maritime. He arrived in the south of France after a period working in Paris alongside Guy Savoy and Christian Le Squer at the Pavillon Ledoyen among others. His varied experience working in establishments across France fired his passion for creating exceptional cuisine. In April 2010 he came top of the podium in the Concours Amical des Jeunes Chefs au Domaine Vaudieu at Châteauneuf du Pape. He was also awarded 3rd place competing for the title of best caterer in France in the Catering Cup.

Having gained their experience working alongside the best, it was in 2009 that Angelique and Fabien created L’Eveil des Papilles.

Fabien produces refined, innovative dishes out of the finest local and seasonal produce. His gift is knowing exactly how to bring out the very best in every single ingredient, enabling him to create amazing and delicious plates of food.
